I’d setup a goal of earning $12000.00 in total passive dividend income this year and received total of $5627.19.

  1. nice month and looks like you will definitely pass your goal of 12,000! That’s awesome. Nice to see some Canadian stocks in your portfolio. With the current conversion rate I’m surprised how little us bloggers own Canadian stocks.

    1. Hi CanadianPassiveIncome,

I like Canadian banks and will be adding some more whenever there is some pull back. Looks like so far I’m on track on my goal of $12K this year: it will be awesome to be making $1K per month on average, we’ll see how second half work out.

  2. You’re well on your way to reaching your goal of 12k in the year. Keep the good work up. Months like this definitely help to reach goals like that. Well done to you.

    1. Hi BuyHoldLong,

Appreciate much the support. It will be huge when I hit my goal of $12K this year: its long time in making for sure 🙂 Yeah, months like these can make or break the goal target.

    1. Hi Dividendandhobbies,

Thank you for the nice words. Passive income this month definitely rocked 🙂 it was highest ever. There will be some months up and some down, however, we just keep it adding here and there: rest will be done by compounding magic and time.

  3. Great results for April. Congrats on your new milestone too. It’s always fun hitting a record total for a month. As usual, a nice long list of varied dividend payers hitting your account. Keep up the good work!

    1. Hi DivHut,

It was definitely a small beer uncorking moment to have hit a new record last month 🙂 Appreciate the kind support and as always, I also enjoy reading your blog: keep up the good work over there!

    1. Hi DividendPortfolio,

Glad to be providing some inspiration and that’s what makes me excited also to post these reports: progress is real for all to see my journey. I’m sure you will be hitting it sooner than you think, just keep at it.

    1. Hi InvestmentHunting,

Appreciate the likes. I’ve been building my portfolio over so many years and this report is a result of all the hard work done in past. I’m myself amazed at the progress: sometimes it happens slowly and sometimes, there could be some setbacks like cuts by KMI, ARCP, etc. Its not a get rich quick path by any means, but, its a worthwhile journey to take. You are doing great over there in options, need to dabble in them to make some quick money 🙂

  4. Have you ever considered selling options to help boost your monthly dividend income? I know that TLT, DIA, AGNC, and HYG all have good volume and pay
Monthly. I know that TLT & DIA don’t pay the highest yield but I think you can make up for that with option premium.
