I scored close to four digit in total passive dividend Income: $843.71 to be precise. Though, it was less than September quarter due to BBL not distributing dividend this quarter however out of park as compared to last Dec, over 48%. That’s awesome. It only shows the power of Dividend Income engine. I’m that much closer to being  Financially Independent (FI) and living a life that I want to live and enjoy my freedom.

I want to own securities of Blue chip Aristocrats (companies with 25+ yrs of growing earnings) and Dividend Champions. Once the earned passive dividend income covers all my expenses, I’ll own my time as well and truly free from 9 to 5 tread mill.

I’d setup a goal of earning $7500.00 in total passive dividend income for this year and received total of $9810.71. Although, month of Dec fell short of my expectations of crossing four digit figure, however, the fact that I achieved my target for this year, gives me an immense satisfaction and I’m sure for all DGI bloggers and investors.

Full Disclosure: Long in all above mentioned securities.

How was your Dividend Income in month of December.

  1. Excellent job at achieving your yearly goal. I missed my yearly passive income goal (barely) but still fell short. Also awesome growth from last December. That is great! Thanks for sharing,

    1. Hi PID,

Thank you. That’s fine, and I’m sure you will hit your goal this year. Compounding is the magic that do the trick over time. Few years back, my passive income was nickels and dimes here and there, but, it grows over time. Good luck for this year goals.

    1. Hi Lanny,

I was happy to have hot the goal of last year, after working so hard all these years. I’m planning to set up another quite ambitious goal of close to $12K, working on it. I’m also pumped up for your 2017 goal of $10K, best.

  3. Solid way to end the year. Congrats on smashing your 2016 goal for dividend income. It’s OK you did not hit a four digit month as overall your 2016 totals were great. Keep it up and thanks for sharing.

    1. Hi DivHut,

Thanks for stopping by as always!

  4. Congrats, I’m on the same path to escape the 9-5 since recently discovering the power of dividends and will FI/RE when they start paying for my basic expenses. See you on the other side.

    1. Hi d4f,

We want to get out of this rat race and DGI is the path chosen by fire’ers. Although, this path requires hard work upfront but fruits can be enjoyed later. Good luck on your journey.
