Monthly Dividend Income – March 2016

Its time for me to post dividend income earned from my portfolios: DRIP, HID & RothI enjoy sharing them as these passive dividend income provides me great inspiration and encouragement to keep chugging along and hopefully to the readers.

Wow! I scored eight hundred+ in total passive dividend Income: $844.93 to be precise, a milestone figure to reach.  Passive dividend income hit a record and it was more than 48.5% compared to last year’s Dec quarter and out of park as compared to last Mar, over 110%. That’s awesome and crossing $800 felt great. It only shows the power of Dividend Income engine. I’m that much closer to being  Financially Independent (FI) and living a life that I want to live and enjoy my freedom.

I want to own securities of Blue chip Aristocrats (companies with 25+ yrs of growing earnings) and Dividend Champions. Once the earned passive dividend income covers all my expenses, I will own my time as well and truly free from 9 to 5 tread mill.

I’d setup a goal of earning $7500.00 in total passive dividend income for this year and received total of $2083.05. This month of March was superb for me as I crossed $800+ that I’m glad to share with you 🙂

Full Disclosure: Long in all above mentioned securities.

How was your Dividend Income in month of Mar.

Thanks for reading.

    1. Hi IH,

Glad to have crossed $800+ for the first time ever. Its real money that we can touch and count on to pay the bills. Its like getting 2 weeks of pay for many folks. Few months like this, can definitely help me to reach my goal of $7500 this year. Waiting for that magic $1K month, we will see 🙂 Congrats on $700+ month over there.

    1. Hi FT,

Looks like first time comment and so, welcome to this little corner of internet. I’ve working very hard since last several years to get to this position, where I do not need to go to work to earn $800+. You said it best, have sleep and fun 🙂 Once expenses are covered by passive income, we can be in that position, and till now, still a long way to go.

What is better than getting paid w/o work 🙂 life can be so much fun and could provide an avenue to explore hidden talents in spare time. World will be so much better for it when everyone gets to discover their true passion w/o having to worry to make money.

    1. Hi LeDividende,

Appreciate liking my numbers for this month. I very well remember a few years back, when my passive income was not much, however, dividend growth with steady investing, I’m in such a position and I’m sure you will see it before you know it. Good luck on your FI journey!

  2. Congratulations, keep rolling that snowball. I’m always amazed how quickly compound interest can grow your passive income, provided that an investor leaves his dividend paying stocks be, instead of selling out when the markets fall.

    1. Hi DividendPlanet,

Appreciate it! It takes a consistent approach to keep at it and before you know, compounding engine is working its magic and passive income can rise dramatically. I’m proof of this as you can see my one month of passive income is more than whole year, just a few years back. Stay invested is the key: slow and steady wins at the end, my friend.
