    1. Hi Investment Hunting,

Thanks for the kind words. It was fantastic to get close to $1500, would have loved to cross it. Now, my snowball has started rolling, even though, I’m not making that many purchases, as I used to do in early days.

Thanks for stopping by as always and commenting!

  1. Looks like four digits will be the “new normal” for passive income earned from your portfolio. With all those solid buys you keep making you are well on your way to building out that passive income stream towards FI. It’s still amazing to see so many relatively small amounts of dividends received collectively add up to a serious total. Keep it up!

    1. Hi DivHut,

Ha! Completely agree, 4 digits is becoming a new normal, you said it best. I remember those early days when most of the bloggers were reporting passive income in just 2 or 3 digits and now, we have come a longggg way from those early days. Magic of time and compounding at its best! Small amount here and there add up big time and we are seeing the fruits of that.

    1. Hi BuyHoldLong,

Appreciate the nice words: its fantastic all around with these kind of passive incomes that bloggers churning out month by month. It will be a big when I hit $1500, and still ways to go for $2000 for sure 🙂

  2. Mavericks –

Phew, wow, just massive! Great job and congratulations. Also – quite a bit from BBL as they had a nice comeback to their dividend this year, nice to see. Keep climbing that latter PIM!

    1. Hi Lanny,

Thank you the kind words. Yeah, BBL has nicely come back due to commodities making new 52 highs or at-least recovering from giddy levels of past. Oil has almost doubled from its low point and metals are unleashing their worth. If growth picks up a bit, these sectors are absolutely going to fire up, however, there is always a big swing that is nerve wrecking. Congrats on the great job over there as well.

    1. Hi Chris,

It looks like that way: End of quarter is always a block buster for most bloggers and especially, HCP moving from Feb to Mar, so, we will see how subsequent months work out. I want to be realistic with my target and it did not appear this way when I set it last year, however, I’ll see if I want to revise it a bit.

    1. Hi PID,

Getting close to 4 digits is awesome and you will be crossing it pretty soon, Sometimes it feels like ages and DGI does take its own time and patience like any good thing :). Just keep at it and you will reach your goal for sure. Good luck on your goal.

  3. Wow, that’s just excellent. Almost $1500 in passive dividend income. I just love the power of compounding. I am nowhere near 4 digits, but I get just a little bit of motivation/inspiration every time I read a post like yours.

    1. Hi DividendPortfolio,

Power of compounding is absolutely amazing thing: given some time, it does wonder to the portfolio. Now a days, I’m not adding much of my capital, but, forces of compounding and snowball are propelling growth of my portfolio. Keep at it and I’m sure you will soon achieve 4 digit numbers. Glad that it helped in your motivation and reading comments like these from readers, pump me up as well: thank you.
