Monthly Dividend Income – October 2017

Its time for me to post dividend income earned from my portfolios: DRIP, DIP, & RothI enjoy sharing them as these passive dividend income provides me great inspiration and encouragement to keep chugging along and hopefully to the readers.

I crossed 4 digit mark in total passive dividend income: $1488.63 to be precise and second highest ever. It was little over Sept month but out of park as compared to last Oct. That’s awesome. It only shows the power of Dividend Income engine. I’m that much closer to being  Financially Independent (FI) and living a life that I want to live and enjoy my freedom.

I’d setup a goal of earning $12000.00 in total passive dividend income this year and drum beat guys… received total of $13188.63 and smashing the target in style 🙂 Nov and Dec passive income will be all gravy on the top.

Full Disclosure: Long in all above mentioned securities.

How did your Dividend Income come along this month of Oct?

Thanks for reading.

    1. Hi InvestmentHunting,

That’s exciting and I’m sure you will be there in no time. I like your options income too and what a fantastic way to achieve FI using a combo of options + div and other passive sources.

Thanks for stopping by as always and commenting!

    1. Hi EngineeringDivs,

Its always nice to have achieved the target for the year and exceeding is great, after so many years at it. Thanks for pointing that out: always fun to get $100+.

  1. What can I say other than… Amazing! Four digits for a quite month, beating your $1K a month goal for dividend income by a lot. Your portfolio is running on all cylinders. Enjoy the Nov. and Dec. gravy!

    1. Hi DivHut,

Thanks so much. I’m glad to have crossed $1K this month and its a nice round important target to achieve towards the FI journey. Keeping my fingers crossed though for the market valuations and how the next year turns out: and when the correction occurs: on the sidelines so far.

    1. Hi IJFJ,

I could not believe it myself till I summed the things up: happy to have achieved a little early. Definitely, keeping the champagne dry 🙂

  2. Almost $1.5K is a pretty impressive total. There are quite a few people in the FI community that have monthly expenses less than that. Onward an upward!

    1. Hi Chris,

Thank you for the kind words. Frankly, I’m surprised how someone can have less monthly expense than my passive income last month: especially if you got a family and house, its much higher and you are right, if someone does have it in that range, he will be FI by now.
