I’m looking for companies that are fairly valued, have a decent dividend yield(3% to 6%) and have a fairly long history of paying dividends consistently for 10 years or more. However, there could be some cases for exceptionally good company or a strategic buy for a very long term.
It was interesting that I bought the same 2 companies that I bought last week & before that, along with VOD as below:
1) Abbott Laboratories, Inc. (ABT)
I bought 5 positions in ABT at $39.43 on 7/01 and it’ll add $5.20 of passive income on an annual basis.
2) Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS)
This is 7th time buying BNS this year. I added 10 positions in BNS on 7/01 at $48.99. It’ll add $28.80 of passive dividend income on an annual basis. Bank stocks have nicely recovered in last few weeks.
3) Vodafone Group plc (VOD)
I added 10 positions in VOD on 6/27 at $28.00. It’ll add $10.04 that I do not need to earn 🙂
Full Disclosure: Long on above mentioned securities.
Thanks for reading.
